On Sunday 25^th February we held a special service at St Mary’s for our Safeguarding Sunday. A similar service was held at St Alban’s on February 11^th. Safeguarding Sunday is about celebrating the things we’re already doing to make our churches safer places, considering what more can and must be done, as well as holding in our hearts all those who have been hurt or harmed by the wider church’s action or inaction when things have gone wrong.
