Wood Street Village Show

We have a stall at the Wood Street Village Show which is usually held at the start of July. We serve refreshments at our stall and it is a great chance to make ourselves visible in the local community. Please contact the Parish Office if you would like to be involved.

Tidy-up days

Saturday morning, 2 – 3 times a year

We rely on volunteers to help keep our two churches in good order. They are held 2 – 3 times a year at both churches on a Saturday morning usually led by a Church Warden. Jobs can include gardening and grounds maintenance, cleaning in the church and small repairs and decorations. The mornings are fun, not too strenuous and a good opportunity to get to know others in the Church community. Do please contact the Parish Office or our Church Wardens directly if you are interested in helping.

Holiday at Home

August: see Church Calendar for date

Join us for our annual Holiday at Home. A fun-filled day starting with welcome tea and coffee, a sit-down lunch and afternoon tea. Join in crafts, flower-arranging and entertainments. Or, simply read a newspaper while being with friends, old and new. The event takes place at St Alban’s.
