St Mary’s Church, located in Perry Hill in the village of Worplesdon, is a historic building, dating back at least 1000 years. It has many points of historical interest – see booklet [hyperlink] for more about its history. Used primarily for Sunday Worship, baptisms, weddings and funerals, the building can also be used for other activities, such as concerts. It has a fine pipe organ and digital piano. It is also equipped with a live streaming system which, subject to the availability of trained volunteer operators, can be used to webcast events.
